Terms

These are the rules of the road. By signing in to diary3 you agree to them.

Your account

You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the Google account you use — if access to it is lost, access to your diary3 journal is lost too.

You must be at least the minimum age required to sign a contract in your jurisdiction. If diary3 is prohibited where you live, do not use it.

Your entries

Your entries belong to you. We claim no ownership of anything you write. We do not edit, publish, redistribute, or machine-learn on your entries. The only copies we keep are the ones required to show your journal back to you.

When you create a share link, you grant anyone who has that URL permission to read the linked content until it expires. Share responsibly.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use diary3 to store illegal content.
  • Do not attempt to access another user's data.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Do not use diary3 to harass, impersonate, or deceive anyone through share links.

Availability

We try to keep diary3 running, but we provide it on an "as-is" basis. There is no uptime SLA. We may change, pause, or withdraw features at any time. We'll try to tell you in advance when the change is material.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Yours page. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms; where possible we'll give you a chance to export your data first.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, diary3 is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from its use or unavailability.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The Last updated date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
